Going to the Hamptons!
Love these shorts! I went with a size small so I could have a vintage look. There is room in the waist, but not in an overt way. For reference I am 5'4 and typically wear a 28 waist in Levi's mid - high rise, but can also fit 27 inch waist if it is a wider 'dad Jean' or 'mom Jean' fit or a 29 if it is a skinny or slim thigh as I have a fuller bum and upper thigh. I would say I'm a full figure petite. These shorts will be perfect with a leather sandal, loafer or some sneakers. The colour is a beautiful butter yellow. I look for 100% cotton and these are which makes them a nice chino fabric.
Great for pear shape
These are wonderful if you need a smaller waist, larger leg width, and the length so you don't get chub rub. I need the 6in length, the 3-in4 is too short and they bunch up with every step. The look of these is semi dressy, they look more put together than denim. The pleats in the front are designed to "hide" stomach issues. I'm 180 lbs, 5"5, 32 waist 45 hip, large is a good fit.
Cute Shorts
I will preface this review by saying I'm a 38 year old Mom and Teacher and tall (5'9). That being said I respectfully disagree with most of the other reviews. I love these shorts. They are a nice length for work and Mom life while still being cute (I don't feel they are only for an older generation as someone else said). I also find the fit is true to size. I ordered a small and medium based on the other reviews but the medium (my normal size in bottoms) fits perfectly. Wish bone is a nice neutral colour. All in all I like these a lot and I'm glad I bought them. I'll pair them with fitted tees and a belt or a button up long sleeve. Thank you for making some shorts for tall girls
Great shorts
I am 5'6 150 and ordered a size medium based on other reviews stating the 6" denim shorts run large. They do NOT! The medium just fits so I'll order a large just to see how they fit. I do love the style and denim fabric.
Perfect!
I love baggy style! And these are perfectly on waist and loose under to hide mummy tummy! Makes me look slim so I'm in love with it! There's an elastic on the back so the waist is adjusted to make a perfect hour glass figure but still super comfy! Perfect shorts!
